I am perfection, made so by creation,
My whole body aches with freedom,
The snow capped mountain, the jewel in the crown of my being.
My wings are vibrant, my each feather a string on a harp
Tenderly plucked by the wind.
My eyes are shiny, more precious than pearls
Laying undiscovered on the ocean floor.
And here I sit at the twiggy window of my tree top mansion
Looking down on the winter wood
Hushed by snow and dreaming of the spring to come.
And I see there on the foothill of my mind,
My image engraved in frost, a testament to my evolution.
I shake the frost from my breast, spread my wings,
Feel the rush of the wind beneath,
Higher and higher, hovering above the valley,
The crowned monarch of my kingdom.
For I am perfection, I am Kite.

Just come back from Lampetr and it's always a pleasure to watch the Kites soaring over your southern valleys and you've captured their majesty beautifully.
