Death Consumes All : Soulcarriers

Contributed by Depression-chan on Saturday, 1st January 2011 @ 09:12:24 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

A burning inferno of color and light
A road less traveled for those of the night
With wings of leather and voices of screams
Darkness overpowers the best of dreams
Our claws ground sharp and our teeth stained red
We whisper of how our victims have bled
Their pain gives us energy to persecute them more
We are encouraged farther as they sink to the floor
They hold out their hands to beg for a second chance
They are ignored as we slip into a feral trance
Though we kill anything tame or wild
No blood tastes better than that of a child
A blood so sweet it is almost unreal
Nothing surpasses they way a child's blood feels
As we gather souls and destroy lives
We pay no attention the strangled cries
We worship the dark for it is our leader
We are taught not to fall for any type of pleader
With a heart of fire and eyes of ice
Creatures like us are called anything but nice
Off we fly with a mission to complete
I just wonder how many people I can eat...

Wow! that was powerful...almost like a war cry!! Well put together! If you say with a deep husky voice or sing it over a nice riff it would be an awesome song! Nicely done!

I absolutely love your way of writing, you are very descriptive and manage to capture my emotions with your pieces.
