Ignoring wrists and razors for another Monday
That lonely commute inches you closer to stems
Frozen in traffic your sun is back with a fever
Suited to their specifications and all tied up
This drab shimmer has you pondering is this it
Sipping stale coffee while pretending to care
The possessed smell of cabbage seeps through
Timely spells wishing hands to move in haste
The boss does a drive by to check your pulse
Leaning on a framed crutch thinking of umbrellas
You’re a 9 to 5 dreamer flipping off expectations
