i
cats have little heads
gorillas sport lovely extraheads
some dogs have long faces
have you hugged a chimp today?
ii
bears are great when they're brown
orangutans can't see them with sweet tiny eyes
i kiss them on their furry heads
and the ducks have little wet feet
iii
floating hippos, leathery monoliths
kangaroos should stay down under
roaring lions are scary as *****
but giraffes are overrated
iv
who's to say that pandas aren't gay?
difference between turtle and tortoise?
kept me up for years, i obsess and digress
flamingos are way gayer than pandas though
v
Beautiful sky, actual warmth in the wind
I'm sweating already, too much bloody warmth, innit?
elephants ***** turn small children into voyeurs
makes everyone super uncomfortable
vi
they stash the boring ones deep, deep in the back
common farm animals and birds
victims of their own success
no one cares for those „of least concern”
wow, roosters actually make that sound
i kinda want one
vii
do polar bears dream of murdering seals?
but now you guys only get small, pre-murdered fish
suck on that for a while
happy christmas
viii
free birds land to converse
with their imprisoned avian brethren
eat their fill, get bored with all the scenery and fly away
the phrase “having your cake and eating it” sure comes to mind
closing up now, they shoo me away
but i‘ll be back for sure another day and i‘d better see a *****in' ostrich then
