I'm clawing excuses from the feet of deceit,
I'm licking my wounds from the claws of defeat,
And I'm calling to you after,
Begging to you please,
Return to me.
Yet your fences are a burden,
'cause on your need I've raised the curtain,
And I've stumbled on your laughter,
Trying to be free,
Your just like me.
And when you face the final question,
You have seen enough and learnt your lesson,
Enough for now and ever after,
It's there to seize,
For you and for me.

Freedom trapped behind the curtain blocking the bloom. I like how you tie this piece together with strong imagery and well written lines that flow with a nice rhythm. Well done my friend.
