'Tis the season to be jolly
so what's up with all the wars?
bullets penatrate the holly
politicians keep the scores . . .
Mother earth is loosing paitents
father time is at wits end,
children imitating adults
while the adults just pretend . . .
The world just keeps on turning
occupying it's own space,
while the flame of hate keeps burning
at a monumental pace . . .
When did we stop caring
what made us lose our will?
how can we climb mountains
we can't even walk a hill . . .
Everything we say is wrong
no one can agree,
life's become the same old song
regardless of the key.
it's all finally gone awry
the cubboard is now bare,
truth it's self became the lie
for it was never there . . .
