Back to Black and White

Contributed by 00flynn on Saturday, 18th December 2010 @ 10:14:50 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You took the spring from my step,
The sparkle from my eye.
You stole the colour from my view,
It’s back to black and white because of you.

I see the sun, but it has no light,
I feel the sun, but it has no warmth,
You gave the world colour, trees green and skies blue,
Its back to black and white, because of you.

Black and white, day after day,
Alone, whatever I say…

… but once the dust settles,
you’ve left me better than you found me.
It’s back to black and white, like before you.

Whoever told you you cannot write was wrong. This is good from my point of view. Let's what else you have in that mind of yours that you can write about and the rest of us can see your talent. :)
