Hers to take.

Contributed by LovelChelsea on Friday, 17th December 2010 @ 10:03:29 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

We met at the Haunted House, You and I.
Our eye's met, mind's set, I wanted to cry.

You looked at me, with those beautiful eye's.
Now I found out, that you were telling me lie's.

I see you again, at school the next week.
You look at me again, my knee's get weak.

I walk up to you, and all I can do, is smile and say, a simple hey.

You smile so shyly, and give me this glare.
So I made myself a silly dare.

"I'll make him mine" I say to myself.
I gave it my all, now you call me you're elf!

I'm not that short I say, and you gave me that look.
I smile back, Our love had took.

Were talking now, almost every night.
Now I know, you are my knight.

What I didn't know, was that you were taken.
I stole a kiss, I was so Mistaken.

But it's not all my fault, for you must admit.
You kissed me back, it lasted longer then a minute.

After awhile, a month gone by.
We talked and talked, you're finally mine.

I stole you from her, a bad mistake.
For once you were mine, you were still her's to take.

A love so unfair, I never had a chance.
I tell you to move on, our love won't advance.

You tell me ok, with a simple goodbye.
That's how I know you were telling me lies.

For you told me you loved me, and all I know now.
Is how silly I was, I'll take my vow.

I'll love you in secret, as far as you know.
You'll never be mine again, oh no..

I wont allow you, to hurt me again.
Our love was fake, on you're end.

My love is true, I just want you to know.
That I'll always love you, rain, sleet, or snow. <3

Your poem is so sad but at the same time, so beautiful. Great work!
