I didn’t want to do this
But the evil man
With the dark eyes
Told me I had to
I knew no one around me
In the darkness of this room
I felt alone with this man
Silver shone around his neck
I reluctantly handed him what he wanted
And when he turned his back I prayed
His hands would be empty
My heartbeat throbbed in my head
I knew I couldn’t run
And no one would hear my screams
I held my breath and closed my eyes
And waited for the end
I felt the man come closer
A pinch
He walked away
I opened my eyes to see his satisfied face
I looked over at my shoulder
And saw a single drop of blood
Swiftly it’s covered with a
Looney Toons Band-aid
