A Lie

I stroll from lips to ears
On sentences spoken
Courteous and devious
I rest in oblivious minds
There I grow and change
I morph into an idea
Fully formed and understood
I meander from the mouth again
And I’m stronger than I was before
But when received my demeanor recedes
To the lie that I am once again
