The aroma of flowers and dandies in the air
Butterflies and doves flying everywhere!
Tall, green trees and showers of rain
Harvest is approaching and there's much to gain!
Grapes, lemons, and fresh blueberries
Bananas, strawberries, and Maraschino cherries!
Basil, parsley, squash, and wheat
Tomatoes, cabbage, and fresh beets!
Enjoy this holiday from March to June
Hum a song and whistle a tune!
Avoid smelling fertilizer and dew
The times and hours are all made new!

In this bitter cold you now have me dreaming of the fullness of spring, lovely warm write, appealing to all the senses |

"Avoid smelling fertilizer....". You brought back memories. I traveled the US for 35 years & can tell you that every rural area in the country, during the months of Oct & Nov, stinks!
Very nice imagery & flow. I could see & smell everything in each line. Very well done. Thank you. |
