Baby girl I wish you understood how I felt
Staring at your face makes my heart melt
Let alone that we have been friends
A friend that will stay with me til the end

But now you have something that I like
Something that Im willing to put up a fight
I love you like no other person in world
And I know that you will be the only girl
For me and baby thats a fact
We are not on stage this ain't no act
Hear these words that I'm spittin
And when I talk you should listen

Stuck inbetween your wants and your needs
I can breath in , but I cant breath out
Laughing away at my shackled doubt

My angle calibrated in life's relentless fun
has gone and past
Will this dream ever return
A endless dream

Second to your complex game
Twittering away when life had you breathless
Struggling with the tension
That seem to weigh your heart down
I was there

For your vents casted in misconception
Your Stumbles...that never hit the ground
When your smile was a rampart
A castle wall
A defense we shared that would never fall

Sent in orbit relaid through the start
A gaurdian ill reamain
To protect your heart

But still I'm left for another day
When you need to stop
To take a rest and lay
I'm here to remind you of the home that was here

Upon the bed were we shared our history
Yielding in your pain that no one else could see
Like a meteor that quickly passed
A shining star your smile would last

Through your grey matter
That speeds your departure
Maybe one day you will see
Years from now...

I was always here

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
