Red rising, swelling, numbing, nulifying, incomprehensible.
Sense of simmering, lapping waves
against a helpless shore.
Never knowing, to-ing and fro-ing,
a slave to a vice clamped deep inside.
Watching, talking, listening and
hoping for the steady release that one day might come.

You've captured well an emotion that I consider very difficult to describe, because it seems that emotion has a lot of deep layers to it, yet your words worked well here. I can definitely relate to your personal and unsettled seething. To be frank, I don't know where I'd be without that little speck of hope (which you mentioned) that someday everything will turn around. But when that glorious day does come, it'll all be worth it.
take care
-K.Z.
