A NIGHTINGALE SLEEPS

Contributed by FIFI on Monday, 21st April 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

Friends may come, Friends may go
The pearly gate open for a heart of gold
The quiet achiever, so caring and kind
Treasured memories to hold
Close to your heart every time

A tear will be weeped
A candle to light
An angel above
Keeps you safe at night

Flying high, free of pain
No more worry or grief
Our hearts fill with thoughts
O an angel asleep

Michelle was a caring warm-hearted young lady
Who achieved a lot in such a short time in a hurry
Her memory still lingers
In everyone's mind
Who knew this great angel?
Who nursing and friendship showed
No emotions in her own troubled times

Miss Pat you are hurting and maybe feeling blue
But were all here to help and lend you a hand
Keep your memories open
And think of the times
When you both saw each other
Or talked on the phone

A shoulder to lean on
We all need at some time
Will never forget, Michelle
Our nightingale still shines.

Beautiful tribute, I am sorry for your loss, it is so sad.
