Tender Is The Morning.

Tender is the morning, softly is the breeze that blows,
Lonliness is a state of mind that often comes and goes.
I walk along an icy path, between stirring trees,
Clear my mind of every day, that brings me to my knees.
The hills are lonely under a vast winter sky,
Up here my cares are dust on the wind, slowly passing by.
The horizon is heavy with freedom on the rise,
So I sit me down and watch a red Kite as she fly's.
All that I am and all I ever will be,
Is gathered here in worship of the wild and the free.
So, tender is the morning, gentle is the day
That soothes my fevered mind and blows my cares away.

Such a beautiful, tender, awesome write.
You just reach out and grab the reader and bring them to the peace you find in the wilds of Wales.
Thanks for taking me a long as you walk.
Blessings, smiles,

A Walk with Nature brings healing of mind body and soul, strengthens and renews, powerful statement...... all that I am...........the wild and the free.......leaving a troubled mind at peace, a lovely communication of reassurance and I not only appreciate the words and the feelings behind them but can connect entirely with this way of being, |

Wow, a good piece of writing here.
Love the way it flows, almost wanting to be sung.
It almost makes me jealous, though mainly because here in New York it's winter. lol
Good job :D |

I like to hike in the woods. This line especially reminded me of that "Up here my cares are dust on the wind, slowly passing by" because that is what hiking will do. You definitely take the reader on this nice trip with you in nature.
Thank you,
Tim

beautiful write.. Just after reading the first two lines i was smitten, the rest of it followed so smoothly to the end.. I dont know why, but maybe cos they were so simply true, but we often forget that. And reading those lines reminded me again what i had forgotten, the realism of joy and its antithesis and how to transcend the real.. |
