Thursday is a better day,
Because I know that I'll see you,
Even if it's just for a minute,
It's enough to get me through,
Days like this would bring me down,
But now hardly anything does,
I just take a breath and think about,
You and me and us,
The words you say that make me smile,
Creating delicate butterflies,
And when I catch you looking at me,
The flash of those perfect eyes,
When we talk for ages,
And when you make me laugh,
The way we haven't openly acknowledged,
This amazing thing we have,
Thursday is a better day,
Because I know that I'll see you,
And I like to hope that you are thinking,
About how you will see me too.
