I don't think I know my own mind anymore,
I think I know why, it's not mine it's yours,
You've imprinted on me, 'til I don't believe,
My own principals.
I don't think I know my own kind anymore,
They're not my friends, not mine they're yours,
You've detached me, from who I should be,
Why so influential.
There's not much of me left inside,
When I married you I began to die,
Now distinguished and free, alone with me,
Still not conventional.

There's many sides to this kind of event,
and it's the kind of topic I always ponder.
I think it just depends what you're
willing to go through with or without anyone.
But I don't think you need someone else's
character to accentuate your own,
esp. when in a relationship.
I enjoyed your poem, brief yet meaningful.
take care
