Christmas Bug

On my past Christmases,
There's so many promises,
But only few passes;
Here on my shrubby lair i hie,
Few days and I'll say good bye,
To a time i don''t own;
But soon certainly spring will come,
And be my soul roam,
Again as dire Christmas bug;
On all that I'd preach,
One had manage to reach:
To let me come back as I wish;
True,I come back after a death class,
But i covet the Christmas,
Every time away I pass;
