Mirrors are nothing more
Than a piece of glass with a frame
They only show what you physically look like
It really is a shame
They cannot tell you who you are
And that's what really counts
So think of things that make you feel good
And shut the bad ones out
When you look in the mirror again
You should be able to see
That it doesn't matter what you look like
'Cause you should love your body!

I never thought of mirrors like that. But they do tell truth. I like this poem. Keep writing/ |

I like this because it highlights a materialistic world that seems to devour all in its path. So much crammed down the throats of humanity you can't escape it. I enjoyed the topic you chose and the title fits well.
