For Eternal Streets

Contributed by Omarzz on Saturday, 4th December 2010 @ 02:47:24 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I'll walk this life alone
Till I take it all in
I'll break those barriers of stone
Till I find peace within
I'll swim away
From this maddening shore
To pure happiness I'll pray
To a kinder man and more
I'll love life till the day I die
And I'll hunt a calmer streak
I'll cast my soul to the sky
Whenever dark.Whenever bleak
I'll smile to the grips of fate
Cherish what I love. What I hate
I'll shed rivers to cleanse humanity
Implore reason and insanity
I'll embrace tomorrow
And enjoy today
Glide past sorrow
Thank God for every day
I'll thank Him for a colorful existence
In a time of black and white
For nature's persistence
For showing what's vain and what's right
I'll thank Him for the blame
For a soul I can and do tame
For hunger for life in a dying world
For guidance in chaotic being
For music in a deaf world
For having what's worth seeing
I'll thank Him for sweet divinity
For moments vaster than infinity
For a caring fate
For chances before it's too late
For hours fuller than ages
For all the different faces
For who I am and what I got
For what I don’t and what I'm not
So I'll part with society once and for all
For I got a life to milk
Got million streets to roam
Endless thoughts to think
Much more to be seen. To be done
More words to be written
And I'm not the only one
So I'll seek the colors without
To nourish those within
For what comes out
Is all what goes in
So I’ll walk this earth
Till I find all the answers
I'll drink the sea of life
Till I find the other order
I'll savor day by day
Knowing all is to go away
I'll feel every feeling
Every cause and effect
I'll wake up to every ocean
Count the stars of the graceful night
I'll roam every corner, every mountain, every spring
I'll fight for beauty
And I'll give you my soul
I won't let go but I'll let you leave
As I die in arms of the wild
Dancing on voluptuous rays of the sun
So far away I'll go where pain won't shine
Where vanity disappears from the wisdom shrine
There I'll see you all
Some other time. Some other space
Maybe another life. In a whole other place
I'll make sure I see you
And you should try and seek me
I'll wait for you to come
I'll wait for you to complete me
There where from beauty my soul will cry
For there's more to life than meets the eye
