Duality

Contributed by iodinelove on Friday, 3rd December 2010 @ 10:39:23 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

I will never dream of the desert, though I have often touched the white, enflamed sands of its surface. Even as the sands do not rise with the wind, but remain, and shelter the light of their own beginning in the succession of the sun, the phoenix does not rise with fire, but instead dies, and spreads metal and glass across the eyes of the blind, wailing mutely in its death throes. The nature of its tears dashed along the walls of unformed hearts, hidden in busy laughter, and left to diminish in the coagulated hopes of love.

The body of my heart is as the stone, unleavened by the fires of the phoenix, heavy by its own accord, singular and constant.

I have never dreamed of the desert, though I have often touched the white, enflamed sands of its surface. Even as the sands do not rise with the wind, but remain, and shelter the light of their own beginning in the succession of the sun, so does the phoenix remain, unable to rise with the fire. In its terror and spite, it sounds its wails, and like metal and glass in the eyes of the blind, its voice falls mute. The nature of its tears fail, dashed along the walls of unformed hearts hidden in busy laughter, left to diminish in the coagulated hopes of love, lost at the fount of new desire.

The body of my heart is as the stone, unleavened by the fires of the phoenix, heavy by its own accord, singular and constant.

in order to write about duality (of man)..I find it easier to experience the higher self and its transendiary levels of consciousness!

Duality merely rises out of ignorance of separative mind and egositic approach of vital self-affirmation...in higher gnosis, transcendence and universal consciousness, it does not exist. Polarities become complementary sides of one truth...

Interesting write.

This is a very interesting piece, a lot of thought must have gone into this, I will come back and read it again. Well done.
