Blue day again near around the lake
Makes my heart ache my soul break
I throw pebbles in the placid water
Your images I imagine get shatter
Your love you gave me is now lost forever
Love was once mine now given to the other
I am here near the lake in the dark night
Looking up at the sky wishing for a starlight
Stars up in the sky with the moon shinning bright
Wishing for a shooting star bring back my love I might
This time is killing me I wish I could be in the sky as a star
To shine on him so he can see me so far as a broken star

A touching write my friend. It's a hard emotion to put into words when that person you care for has turned all attention to another but you executed that here and it was a very enjoyable read. Well done.
