Oh, the feeling—
Fluttering my breath,
Inching down my spine.
It’s different
But addictive
My new drug of choice.
He’s different—
I turn my head
But,
He returns.
Always returns.
Where is my decency?
My faithfulness?
My love for you is strong
But,
weak at the moment.
I hate myself.
And you’re too far,
Too far from me.
I miss you
But
Oh, the feeling
Of being wanted
And received.

Its simple and yet the depth of thought can be found as well. Regret is a demon in itself. Good poem. |
