It’s back and I want to die again
A stain upon everything living
Lost inside a mind built by pain
I can feel my control giving
This broken heart magnetic to sorrow
These pages can’t explain the hurt
I’m pathetic for chasing tomorrow
A study past the point of alert
My damaged body too sick to ache
I’m begging you to please end this soon
For my eyes to see light was a mistake
Mama’s lion dying beneath the moon

In the first verse the mind trying hard in vain to hold the pain then the heart bleeds it on to the page and as hope fades then the most beautiful line of reaching out to say,' can't you see!........Mama's lion dying beneath the moon.....poetry at its most painful but at its most exquisite too. |
