Topic: oops

I used to spin words into beautifull webs.
webs made of tears, lost love, and life.
in my webs i never caught bugs,
just slivers and peices of a weary heart.

I spent my days searching,
collecting hopes and dreams,
thinking one day i might have all the lost peices
and praying they still fit together just right...

truth be told it was a lost cause
I just sucked the blood and and life out
of whatever i caught, leaving me empty,
hopeless, and right back where i started...

so this is my last stitch effort,
time to spin another web
make sure you keep your distance,
cuz this time i've abandond all the rules,
I'm cutting off all restraints,
and i will never show mercy.

I'm telling you, don't get caught in my web,
cuz this is as real as it gets..

this is me, not that scared little girl
I pretended to be.
the gloves are off,
and i'm up off my knees...

so if you don't want to get eaten
stay outa my web, get outa my head,
step away from my heart,
it's in peices but it's bigger then yours..

"if you can't stand the heat,
get outa the fire!!!"

Go girl! I love the line just slivers and pieces of a weary heart, the impetus for change! the turning around and strengthening and saying enough is enough! then the empowering line..... stay away from my heart its in pieces but its bigger than yours! I not only feel the words and the feelings behind it but I know them and so I'm sure do alot of women out there.
