Destruction breads,
Deceit takes heed,
Another time it turns,
In vicious cycles,
The world starts to churn.
Lost to devotion,
The hate brings a notion,
Blindly rejoicing,
But lost in the motion,
As the world churns.
History and past,
Lost in its trance,
Heart will expire,
From lies I’ll retire,
As the world churns.
Fading of time,
Look to the past,
Don’t have a future,
My life will not last,
Lost as the world churns.
Heart defeated,
By lies I needed,
Life is lost,
From pain I cause,
And still the world churns.
Tears of pain consume my soul,
Weep in anguish but full of joy,
Cerebrum flooded with images of you,
Lost to dreams that will never come true,
Lost to the world as it churns.
Now it will stop,
Lay me to rest,
Free my thoughts,
For eternities best,
As the world and my life lay to death.
