The Cemetery Tree

Contributed by rfburn on Sunday, 28th November 2010 @ 04:16:31 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

When the ancient tree in the center,
Finally falls or otherwise dies,
Then the spirits that rest below it,
Will seek revenge for their demise.

When no longer held so fast,
Inside the old dead tree,
Their spirits will be loosed to roam,
For all of eternity.

If separation bore them peace,
And they left the same behind,
Their spirits will roam the earth,
And that will be their sign.

But if they left the world in torment,
With torment still in their heart,
Their spirits will roam the earth,
And fear will be their mark.

I like this write it has a nice flow to it and reads
easy which makes it a good read. It has a good
closer to it with the last few lines and so many
of us have torment in are hearts so I guess we to
will roam the earth and leave are mark. Steve
