Darkness

Contributed by Eclipse_of_the_Moon on Wednesday, 24th November 2010 @ 07:10:49 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Trying to hide the darkness in her heart,

she doesn't want anything bad to start.

For in that darkness a demon sleeps.

Waiting for a chance to make it's move.

To kill those close to her.

To kill those who oppose her.

Till nothings left in this place

and all life is like lace,

always thin and easy to break.

She wants the demon gone for everyones sake.

She wants to take her place in their eyes

but all she can ever do is sigh.

The demon wakes

and her life it will eventually take.

Tracking down those who abused her,

killing those who opposed her.

Taking their lives and smashing them to bits

she desperatly tells it to sit.

she tries to take control of her mind

The demon responds to her in kind.

Throwing her into the darkness of her heart.

so she can be torn apart.

Torn by the hatred she carried for so long,

and now she realizes she was wrong.

Demons and understanding are hard concepts in life. I like the write, it is like a fight inside yourself. Nicely done.
