Silent Chaos (prose)

Poignant silence reaches into the soul,
Devouring the numbness within,
gradually and softly filling you,
Doubt slowly caresses your thoughts,
It spreads throughout your limbs,
Slowly unraveling your inhibitions.
Consistency dies, and chaos is born,
The silence inside you cannot hold you back.
Teetering on the cusp of sweet release…
And suddenly…
you are free.

Sometimes the strongest love is held by such a slender thread. This poem is so true. Well written |
