No-one for you to love or hold
No-one to keep you warm when you are cold
No-one to hug you in times of need
And hear the cries you plead
But I hope you know I care
When I say my silent prayer
No-one to tell you how beautiful you look
No-one to listen about the abuse you took
No-one to put a smile upon your face
And give you a loving embrace
But I hope you know I'm there
When I say my silent prayer
You still cry so many tears
When you look back through the years...
No-one for you to kiss or say 'Goodnight'
No-one to tell you it will be alright
No-one has been there for you
After all that you've been through
Speaking words would be unfair
So I'll just say my silent prayer
