Every day I live I take away my own life.
Every day I live I pick up and put down the knife.
Once he said he wanted to make me his wife.
Not now, though, for it will only cause marital strife.
Can someone please tell me where my life went so wrong?
I use to be so strong.
No more in this world do I feel like I belong.
Every day that my life goes on,
My death is just being prolonged.
In my mind I hear the sound of a gong.
Soon after it's followed by my death song.
Now I say to you I must be gone
For if I stay I will only be dragging you along.
Along with me
Headstrong
Into my deathsong.

This is really sad.
It's even sadder that I'm sure so many people can compare.
Please keep holiding on. Things will eventually get better. |
