LOOKING INTO THE EYES OF JESUS

Contributed by sidneyconrad23 on Thursday, 18th November 2010 @ 01:15:55 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Have you ever seen a homeless person asking for money?
To buy something to eat.

Have you ever seen a small child with nasty clothes on with
No shoes on their feet?

Have you ever seen a drunk who was about to pass out and
Needed help.

Have you ever seen a junky who was hanging in the streets who
Was unable to help their self?

Have you ever seen an older person who needed a helping hand?
Like walking them across the street or helping them to walk or
To just stand.

Have you seen a person who was not feeling good that day, and
All they needed was to have some one to smile or just say hey,

Now we all knew what Jesus said about helping one another, because
In His we all sisters and brothers.

So the next time when have a chance to help some one, lose your pride
And find a little trust.

Because if you do you just might be surprise and find your self looking
Into the eyes of Jesus.

if I was your Jesus..all clear eyed and bright..would Sidney act different?not thinking "He's right"Would Sidney stop writing and hold his right hand And follow this pilgrim past mankinds' wasteland? If He is so different, why wait thousand years Tell all your children "This man cureth all fears"....Don't listen to Satan or other black crooks..Stay with your writing..and gain Kleetas' looks....

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
