Life Without You

Contributed by Anu on Tuesday, 16th November 2010 @ 11:09:16 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I wonder why I'm scared to smile,
My dreams have become so fragile

How do I leave you without hurting you,
Is a question to which I have no clue

Moving ahead is what they say is for good,
But without you, my head and heart have lost the mood

I feel like diving in the ocean and swim far away,
Open my eyes in a new world where WE can stay

They'd never accept our love..
They don't feel the way we always do,
Now they're forcing me to imagine a life where there is no you!

It kills me every time,
I die a little inside
But still I hide…

To love you truly is what I've learnt.
It's not a crime that I've done.
I'll do it all my life,
Till the time I'm alive...

While reading the poem I experienced the pain as if it were my own. Lovely way of expressing one's self. It unfolds effortlessly and with more intensity of the pain in the verse that follows.

Keep writing
Anoo
