I Have a Promise to Keep

Contributed by voice of the silent on Tuesday, 16th November 2010 @ 02:59:44 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

These woods to mysterious, dark and deep
I have a promise I have to keep
I will not fall apart
But my journey is only at it's start

I have miles to go
Through hell on earth
Doesn't matter what it's worth

I have a promise to keep
So I walk through these woods so dark so cold so deep
I know I have miles to go
And as it starts to snow

I think
If the woods were to sink
Down out of existence
Disappear in a mist

Would I even know
I'd still have a long way to go
Through these woods so mysterious dark and deep
And so many miles to walk before I can sleep

I'll never break it again

A well written piece about ones journey to deliver the word we gave and perseverance. This made for a nice read.

Now that it's your journey, you recognize
you will be able to map out a flight plan
on the journey from a-z
surely there is plan and purpose to see

I love your repentant soul, having learned the importance now of that great duty to be honest to yourself.

We all have a beautiful message here, that the darkness of those woods won't always allow outsides influences to shed for us some light. We have to look inward, to our internal unblemished soul to guide us in keeping the honor and promises that emanate from our mouths.

A very nice write, straight from the soul.
2bpositive, always.....
