Shadow

Shadows of the past, thoughts full of nothing

A shadow of emptiness, containing something

It fallows me, but I can no longer see it

It fallows me! but I can no longer feel it

It haunts me! but I can no longer be it

I see it at night, but it's gone when I turn on the light

I hear the shadow as it does me, I wish it were here

a shadow that was once full of light

a shadow I could be with at night

mine fades away but is here to stay

another is gone but won't stay away

I fear the dark, but hate the light.
