it's been too long,
since i've had a true smile.
i knew you were wrong,
but my heart was in denial.
i've waited a year,
not getting any closer.
each day brings a tear,
it's not getting any better.
i want to give up,
but im not sure how.
i know i have to try,
but why is it now?
you like her,
and im in love with you.
