You probably thought,
That when I saw you,
I felt my heart sink,
But if I'm honest,
That will always,
Remain just what you think,
I was actually happy,
To walk on by,
Without saying a word,
It was nice,
To not be bothered that,
You were with some other girl,
It was great to be,
Holding my head high,
After all you put me through,
It was good to not be,
The total fool,
Holding hands with you,
It was alright when,
We made eye contact,
And I didn't even crumble,
It felt great to be,
In my most gorgeous shoes,
And not even stumble,
I'm so glad I didn't,
Make a fool of myself,
When I was walking past you,
It's nice to know,
After all this time,
I'm finally over you.

| Poetry are feelings we have down deep inside us and the only way can let other people know how we feel are to write those words down nice write always keep writing. |
