Tortured existence

Tortured existence

a click then a flash of smoke
floating,rising higher
looking down on my body
tethered,can't leave
watcing,waiting for someone

a man in uniform comes
to collect my shattered remains
watching,waiting..

looking down on my casket,beautiful
but i am not there
few people mourn, the fakers just stare
alone again in death as in life
tethered to a place in the ground
watching,waiting...
but no one comes
the grass grows over the fresh dirt
time goes by,endless torture
as in life
tethered to a place thats so lonely
nobody cares,nobody really did
Rewind:
alone i sit in the shadows again
pistol in hand,i raise it.....

caring people are nice, and it helps to have social support, but try to do things to keep your mind out of depression, even when by yourself. Don't be sad because you think no one cares, go out there and make them care by showing them how awesome you are! :P

I feel that same way on the very last line sometimes. This is depressing but a good piece of poetry. Keep writing, it might get you somewhere.

this is actually a beautiful piece of poetry, in an
eerie sort of way. Anguish needs ventilation. And
this form of creative venting is perfect for the heart
that feels no hope.

You are not alone. Believe it.
