YOU AND I

Contributed by sidneyconrad23 on Friday, 12th November 2010 @ 02:52:29 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

There came a man name Jesus, the beginning and the end.
He was sent by his heavily father to be a sacrifice for our
Sins.
He was taken as a prisoner, mocked at and lead out to the
Street,
Then he was stripped, spit upon and then he was badly beat.

A crown of thrones was placed upon his head, he was made
Fun and called a king.

And then spikes were nailed into his hands and feet, and he
Was just left to bleed.
The old rugged cross was lifted up and the people just watch
And stood around.

But Jesus never said an unkind word or never made a frond.

Just before he died he looked up in haven with his face black
And blue.
And he said father for give them they know not want they do.

So the next time that we sin ask your self who was Jesus crucified
By.

Then look in a mirror and take a long hard look, because it was you and I.

Great writing.
Many people never realize that when Jesus was on the cross he covered all sin as he knew what we go thru. I would never intentionally take advatage of this fact but we are born into sin and no one was perfect except Jesus Christ.
blessings,
emy
