Loneliness Waiting

Contributed by PhantomsLDY on Monday, 21st April 2003 @ 01:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The Raven's lonesome call echoes through the night
Her lonely calls seem to go unanswered
It seems she is alone in her heartbreak
Her days are dull and empty
Her nights are long and cold
Her heart longs to be with her love so far away
In the long dark night
She remembers their beautiful and happy flight
Sometimes she hears his heart answering her call
She hears it as a whisper in her soul
My love is still strong and true
My heart belongs to no one but you
With his love whispering in her heart
She survives the long cold nights deep and dark
She soothes her pain with the knowledge that soon
The dawn will come again and the sun will shine upon them both
Fore with a love so strong and true they are never truely parted.

'Her days are dull and empty. Her nights are long and cold.' I love those lines! It so clearly describes the feeling I've had when my sweetheart was away. Good writing, PhantomsLDY ! Friend Bizzy
