Into blue eyes
I stare so deep.
With traces of,
Unspoken grief.
Those blue eyes cry
And then you speak
Your hand grips tight,
My heart feels weak.
You utter words,
I refuse to hear,
But I see your grief,
suppressed by fear.
Fall to my knees,
I cannot feel,
This cannot be,
It isn’t real.
The numbing pain,
Suffusing through,
I cannot live,
Without you.

Everyday we lose someone or something. Loss is the result of life, and though it hurts, it is absolutely necessary.
The sense of loss, the grief we feel never goes away. We either learn to live with it, or we die. |
