Could you dance with the petals of a rose?
Could you tangle at length with the Holy Ghost?
Could you sup and dine with bitter foes?
Could you start to understand the Lord of Hosts?
Could you comprehend the songs of a sparrow?
Could you hear the true melody of this globe?
Could you walk with earnest the straight and narrow?
Could you have the faith of she who touched His robe?
God give me such faith and grant me such grace
To dance with the petals of a rose!
