Through the window
The faces pass as quickly as their lives,
The cold air
Biting into their worst experiences
To keep them awake at night.
Every face has a different tale,
The eyes always droop
The nose pointed to the ground,
The mouth in a permanent frown
Or a straight lifeless line.
Who amoung us really stands out?
Is it the oldest man with the most stories
Or the child who gazes at the sky,
While the mother attends her needs.
The smartest teen may have popularity
But her independance may not exist.
When you realise you have nothing
Compared to the one you look down on
Because they are different,
Do not expect help from them,
For this they have waited.
