MOMMY MEANT BUSINESS
I remember when I was young I done things I
Shouldn’t had done.
Daddy always took me by my hand and smiled
And said don’t do that no more son.
Then I saw mommy coming and it wasn’t very
long.
Mommy said son come here and look me in the
Eyes and tell me what you done wrong.
Mommy had me to go into the house put my
Shorts on and get a branch off the tree.
Then mommy said son I love you very much
And this is really going to hurt me.
I remember a lot nights I left mommy all alone,
But she made sure before I left I had clean socks
And underwear on.
Now mommy’s gone and I miss her very so,
And there’s one thing I want you all too know.
Mommy was always there to give me a helping
Hand.
And I think that was all God’s plan.
And I know where mommy is now she's in Heaven with
Jesus.
And I Just wanted to let every one know mommy,
Meant Business.
