Cabo Rojo Lighthouse

Contributed by flirtyrockstar on Sunday, 20th April 2003 @ 09:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Hiding what we drenched in tears
Something to toll on for years
One beam of light to clear these skies
From a lighthouse of demise
Ocean of ail, with only one cure
There's only so much i can endure
Bathe my skin in all i've lost
Losing your love was the greatest cost
The air's salty depression's sinking in
Submerging all we could have been
Kisses marked with falling stars
Memories marked with itching scars
Time can never be effaced
When with you they have been graced
You were the light that lit my soul
Now i've lost my self control
I retraced the steps that led me on
Now that current pleasure's gone
All i've lost is what I need
For these thoughts my soul shall bleed
The lighthouse holds but one light
A memory of a single night
When all we needed life to be
Was moments filled with you and me
