The Nameless

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The Nameless

the nameless man

that stands on the street corner and begs for change.

the nameless man

who finds a bridge to find shelter from the pouring rain

the nameless man

who goes to the homeless shelter in the long line to wait

for his next meal in hopes there is some food left.

the nameless women

who steals a loaf of bread to survive

and prays she doesn't get caught.

the nameless women who collects cans

to try to get money

so her children can eat

the nameless children

who wait under the bridge sobbing and in tears

in hopes that mommy will make it home

the nameless person

with no home trying to make there way in this world

the nameless community

that sticks together as one strong

so they can still stand

the nameless state

that cannot provide for all the hungry mouths

the nameless country

that struggles for the strength to provide for the ones it cant

the nameless world

that cant be everything it has to be cause the nameless has gotten

out of hand

i am the nameless

you are the nameless

so what will we do ?

what will you do?

to give the nameless a name?

how long will it take?

it has to start with us

to give the nameless race a face.

to end this so called race of namelessness

like it a lot!!tells a story,,and i feel the same,,i think that a quote from a movie called crash would be appropriate here: It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something. and if we feel that something we can help and realize we need to!!
