Ode to those,who don't conform;
to the wake of society;figuratively,
creatively,categorically as well,
for many who choose ,the common path;
have no sense of self
Ode to those,with broken hearts;
who do not feel the need,
to bleed the world of sympathy,
that song has long grown old
Ode to those,who speak their mind,
and will not be deterred,
for those who judge,of flesh and bone,
as well will have their day
Ode to those,who leap upon,
bandwagons as they pass,
the show must end, and when it does,
where will you be standing?

Where indeed!? Where will any of us be standing when M. Earth shakes us off like the fleas we are. I love your work...most times it makes me think. And that's a GOOD THING! :o)

THIS is a poem to contend with. It starts with Force -- -- we are undone -- yet -- at the same time it is soft -- as it holds many a Secret. And then -- somehow -- all these forcible words lead us -- drag us -- (unwillingly?) down what seems a crumbling hill: and at the bottom, somewhere after the bandwagons have gone, we are faced with that awe-full Question. The Question we cannot answer -- the Question we cannot even bear to lay our eyes upon.
A rock. This is. A rock. |

This poem touched something in me
I felt a sadness within myself because of
The path that I know many will take
A path filled with warning signs along the way
Sleep walking through life, with eyes wide open
That in itself is a tragedy.
If you don't want to know the truth. You won't
