As my light spitting computer searches the internet
I turn my head to the window and let my mind observe
Outside trees follow the street that is dimly lit and wet
The sky is empty except for a bird that makes a single swerve
The weather is mildly cold and there are no people to be seen
I think they are intimidated by the ruggedness around here
But I think its logical beautiful and placidly serene
Albeit it seems a bit isolated and to too many that is hard to endear
But I dont care much for what other people think of this
I have what I need, and I like being in the abyss
Darkness doesnt strangle me, it camouflages me gives me peace
And spending time in the dark makes my thinking power increase
So you can stay in your place of light and love
And I'll stay here cause I like the world rough

I found this to be an interesting take on things and I can appreciate your point of view. Things don't always have to be typical courses of bliss. The opposite can be just as meaningful and helpful. Great job!

So detailed I can imagine myself in your seat staring out the window. A pleasant read for sure. |
