Where's my violin?

Contributed by po-it on Monday, 25th October 2010 @ 09:56:59 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Well where’s my violin

The walls are closing in
My strength is wearing thin

And then creeps in the silence
And emptiness crawls in

And loneliness is at the door
Waiting to be let in

All all distraction fades away
And leaves me in my skin

Disarmed, alarmed, uncomfortable
And now the doubts dig in

They eat away till nothing’s left
They leave me bone and skin!

My self worth drains away
My chest calls on my chin

And inwards I just crumble down
I have nothing within

Nothing to hold me up
Nothing to help me win

I lost the battle and the war
So where’s my violin?
