You were someone else's handsome.
Mine was darker and wore
too much grease in his hair,
Converse One Stars and a black leather jacket.
I was someone else's beautiful.
Yours was radder and had
liberty spikes in her hair
just enough black eyeliner, and your hand in hers.
But that was last October.
Now, Kande and Dandy are no more,
Ross Sheridan won't speak to me,
and you and I could stare at each other all day long.

you were each others...thats all that matters....friends are better then lovers and easier to get along with then family....it didnt sound romantic, just directed at someone dear to you...good write, i enjoyed reading this Iron...
